Missouri man airlifted to hospital after motorcycle strikes deer

LIVINGSTON COUNTY —A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Monday in Livingston County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Yamaha V Star driven by Zachary J. Marrs, 36, Trenton, was southbound on U.S. 65 eleven miles south of Trenton. 

The motorcycle struck a deer in the road. The Yamaha overturned and the driver was ejected. 

Lifeflight Eagle transported Marrs to Truman Medical Center.  He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
