Dickie "Dick" Ray McCaulley, 70, of DeKalb, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Mosaic Life Care.
He was born June 27, 1955 in DeKalb, MO, son of Georgette and Omer Pyles. He attended DeKalb Schools. He spent nearly 50 years of marriage together with his wife Wanda, who passed January 30, 2026. Dick grew up working on the family farm, and he worked as a Landscaper for over 20 years. He enjoyed coaching Special Olympics, going hunting, fishing, and to flea markets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Wanda McCaulley, daughter, Mary Crane, and grandson, George Henery Wheeler Jr.
Survivors include: sons, Joseph McCaulley of DeKalb, MO and George (Tammy) Wheeler of DeKalb, MO, half-brother, Ralph Pyles Jr. of St. Joseph, granddaughter, Autumn Rose Crane of DeKalb, MO, grandsons, Bernie Wheeler and Robert Wheeler of DeKalb, MO, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the DeKalb Christian Church, where the family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Thursday at DeKalb Christian Church. The Interment will be at the Westlawn Cemetery, DeKalb.
