CALDWELL COUNTY —A Missouri man was injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Friday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Brad A. James, 61, Kidder, was westbound on U.S. 36 two miles west of Hamilton in the driving lane.
The Ford merged into the passing lane and struck a 20201 Peterbilt semi driven by Jimmy L. Kell, 41, Castor, LA., as the semi was attempting to pass.
Daviess County EMS transported James to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Kell was not injured. James was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
