Debra Jean Tounzen 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday March 6, 2023 among family.
She was born November 10, 1959 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and graduated from Central High School, then earned an associates degree from Missouri Western State College. She worked at St. Joseph School District as a teacher in the Special Education department. She also worked as an exotic dancer and actress. She was a member of the Helena Baptist Church.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Jean Baker.
Survivors include three children: Alyssa (Courtney) Lindsey, Jeremy (Janelle Smith) McKnight, and Shannon (Riva) McKnight, grandchildren, Darien, Arianna, Kali & Mason Grable, Braelyn McKnight, Paydyn Pendleton, Riley, Travis, Michael, & Nathaniel McKnight, Celeste McKnight, and Fynnegan Smith, brothers, James Caryl, and William Morran, sisters, Denise Henry, Donna Morris, and Donna (Doug) Weston.
She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
