Rachel Lauren Chaney, 40, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025.
She was born June 28, 1985 to Preston Chaney and Cathy Craig Bainter in League City, Texas.
She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Chaney.
Survivors include her mother, Cathy Craig Bainter; brother, Jason LaFollette; Aunts and Uncles, Steve Craig, David and Rebecca Schmidt, and Susan Craig; cousins, Gresham Dale, Aidan Simmons, and Tom Schmidt; her beloved dog, Ellie.
Memorial Celebration of Life 5:45 to 7:30 P.M. Thursday, St. Joseph Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Noyes Home for Children.
