Beatrice Sue Moore, 73, of Smithville, MO passed away February 14, 2026.
She was born on October 6, 1952, to Lawrence Marvin and Ruby Maxine (Stark) Ramsey in Carrollton, MO where she grew up and attended school.
On April 20, 1985, she was united in marriage to David Lee Moore. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.
Sue retired from Tension Envelopes in Kansas City, MO after several years of service. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and listing to music, especially The Supremes, The Temptations, Pitbull and the Black Eyed Peas. Most of all she loved being a wife, mom and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Ruby Ramsey; her son Kenneth Porter; her sisters Maxine White and Linda Outlaw; her brothers Kenneth Ramsey, David Ramsey and Billy Moss; her great-granddaughter Zora McCampbell; and her dog Buddy.
Sue is survived by her husband David Moore; her grandchildren Dray Moss, Kayla (Hunter) McCampbell, Alexis Porter, and Rosa Acosta; great-grandchildren Malachi and Lyla; daughter-in-law Ticey Acosta; sisters Donna Moss and Leslie Corder; several nieces and nephews including Angela Moore; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Life will be held later.
