Helen Louise Dietrich, 99, of Olathe, KS, formerly of Nortonville, KS, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Cedar Lake Village, Olathe, KS.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Olathe, KS, with Rev. David Kahle officiating. Cremation care has been selected, and burial of cremated remains will be at a later date in Nortonville Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to The Lutheran Hour and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who are handling the arrangements. Helen was born November 29, 1926, in Nortonville, KS, the daughter of Harry and Pauline (Mueller) Nieman, Sr. She graduated from Atchison County Community High School. Helen briefly worked before marriage for KCPL in Kansas City. Helen married Wilbert Dietrich on March 8, 1946. Later she was employed at J&E Pharmacy in Nortonville until retirement. They moved from their farm in Nortonville to Atchison where they resided for 15 years. She and Wilbert enjoyed traveling for church conventions and with family. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Nortonville, KS.

She moved to Cedar Lake Village Senior Living in Olathe to be closer to family. There she attended Redeemer Lutheran Church. Helen greatly enjoyed her home at Cedar Lake Village.

Survivors include daughter Cynthia Morris (Gary), Lenexa, KS; son, Arnold Dietrich (Cindy), Tulsa, OK; son, Thomas Dietrich (Margo), Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Dietrich, December 23, 2008; parents; an infant son, Charles Dietrich; two brothers, Thoburn Nieman and Harry Nieman, Jr.; and a sister, Eulalah Weinel.
