A member of the Buchanan County Jail staff has been arrested, accused of having sex with an inmate.
Buchanan County Sheriff Bill Puett reports 47-year-old Francis “Bud” Fisch has been charged with Sexual Contact with Prisoner or Offender by Probation/Parole Officer, Employee of a Jail, Prison or Correctional Facility.
Puett says his office received information of possible criminal behavior of a non-sworn member of the Corrections staff.
The sheriff states that after an investigation conducted by his office discovered that Detention Deputy Fisch had allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a female inmate, deputies placed Fisch under arrest.
