Thomas “Tommy” M. Sartain, 56, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away on April 1, 2026, at St. Luke’s in Kansas City, MO.
Tommy was born on September 17, 1969, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the son of Thomas and Donna (Weinert) Sartain. He enjoyed watching KU basketball, Chiefs, Royals, and dirt track racing. He enjoyed writing and has had three books that have been published. He had a big heart and enjoyed helping people. He will be missed very much by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons; Michael and Matthew, sister; Starla Sartain, and brother; Shane Sartain, niece; Tiffany Littrice, nephews; Curtis Littrice, Tyrone (Casey) Littrice, and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded by his parents and brother, Sean Sartain.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service. Memorials are suggested to Final Expense and may be sent in care to the funeral home.
