Dorothy M. Salisbury, 94, Maysville, Missouri, died at a care center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
She was born October 26, 1929, to Herman and Emma (Ladage) Linder in Cosby, MO.
She graduated from Savannah High School in 1947 and Guard Business School.
Dorothy and Robert Salisbury were married on December 27, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1994.
Dorothy was a homemaker and 4H Youth education assistant. She was involved in numerous social clubs. She loved baking, gardening, quilting and playing games with her family.
Her most prized possession was her family. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, David (Debra) Salisbury of Gravois Mills, MO, Daniel (Kathy) Salisbury of Kansas City, MO, Denise (Neil) Scott of Kearney, MO, Diane Salisbury of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Sue (Steve) Brammer of Lee’s Summit, MO; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
