The Northwest Missouri State University Department of
Athletics has entered into a partnership with Athlete Network to provide social
media engagement, participation and stewardship for current student-athletes
and Bearcat alumni.
Bearcat athletics asks that all former and current student-athletes create an
account on the OABABB Network to
bolster our database and check out the platform.

Founded by former college athletes, Athlete Network is the No. 1 engagement
platform for current and alumni athletes. With the mission of helping athletes
advance after their playing days through community, internships, and careers,
Athlete Network partners with companies and graduate schools to connect them
more efficiently with this elite network of athletes that positively impact
their goals and naturally fit into their organization's culture.
Athlete Network provides a branded software solution to organize, promote, and
track the programs and services offered to both current and former
student-athletes. It will enhance the student-athlete experience and create
life-long relationships between athletic departments and their athletes. The
goal of Athlete Network is simple, keep athletes competing by uniting them in
an ecosystem built by athletes for athletes through connections, resources,
mentoring, and careers.
"I'm really proud of this partnership with Athlete Network and what it can
do for us," Northwest Director of Athletics Andy Peterson said.
"Their expertise and platform allow us to reach out and connect with
former Bearcat student-athletes in ways we have not been able to do before. It
operates more like a social media platform in that our alumni can be as
involved as they want to be and seek out as much information about their
program without us force feeding everything. The opportunities for engagement,
development, branding, communications and interaction is exciting for all of
our programs. I hope that all of our alumni can join and be a part of the OABAAB Network so we can let them know
what is going on in Bearcat Nation on their own terms."
