BUCHANAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 10:30p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Paul E. Jackson, 83, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 just south of Washington Township.
The car traveled off the road down an embankment and struck a ditch.
Buchanan County EMS transported Jackson and a passenger Joyce E. Jackson, 79, St. Joseph, to Mosaic Life Care. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
