The Missouri Department of Conservation wants you to know your native plants. They're putting on a hike at Wallace State Park in Cameron June 16th to find and identify common plants of Northwest Missouri.
Hikes will be on maintained trails at the park, as well as adjacent prairies and woodlands. MDC asks that hikers wear appropriate clothing, and suggests water, sunscreen, and bug repellent.
If you can't make it for June 16th, they'll be back out for another hike August 18th.
