HARRISON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Sunday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Cadillac CTS driven by a 19-year-old Bethany man was eastbound on Route Y at East 295th Street ten miles northeast of Bethany. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The car traveled off the north side of the road down a steep embankment, became airborne, crossed 295th Street and struck several trees.
Life Flight transported two passengers, a 12-year-old Bethany boy and a 13-year-old Ridgeway boy, to Children's Mercy. The driver was not injured. The teens were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
