This Year's Amelia Earhart Festival in Atchison, KS scheduled for July 16th and 17th has been canceled. 

Due to the continuing threat of COVID-19, and for the safety of volunteer and those who would attend the event, the festival has been canceled for this year. Even with vaccines, it's not enough to ensure the safety of the large community event. 

The committee will begin planning to return in July 2022 with a celebrations of Atchison's famous aviatrix.
