CALDWELL COUNTY—A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy 2500 driven by a 17-year-old boy from Kingston, was northbound on Route D at Colt Road 5 five miles west of Polo.
The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The pickup traveled off the west side of the road and struck a tree.
EMS transported the teen to Liberty Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
