Mr. William Lester Bayer Sr. 74, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 in a Saint Joseph, MO hospital. He was born August 2, 1951 in Cameron, MO, son of the late Mary and William F. Bayer. He attended Benton High School, and worked as an auto mechanic.
William was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, David and Roland Bayer. Survivors include: son, William "Will" Bayer Jr., and daughter, Lynetta Bayer both of Saint Joseph, MO, brothers, James, Charles, and Marvin (Lisa) Bayer, sisters; Tonya Warner and StarLetta Wascher, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials are requested to the William Bayer Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
