Michelle Lynn Campbell, 41, lovingly known as “Chell Bell”, passed away on July 30, 2025, at her home in Savannah, MO.  Born on November 19, 1983 in St Joseph, MO to Kevin and Robyn (Lucas) Flippin.  Michelle touched many lives with her infectious humor, boundless energy, and deep love for her family and friends.

She graduated from Missouri Western State University cum laude.  A proud mother, Michelle poured her heart into raising her wonderful children. She was the neighborhood’s favorite friend – always welcoming, always fun, always ready with a joke or helping hand.  Her generosity extended to all the neighborhood kids, whom she delighted in teaching how to decorate for every holiday.  Halloween was her favorite.  “Chell Bell” was famous for her meticulously planned family vacations with power-point presentations and schedules earning her the affectionate nickname “Vacation Nazi”.

Michelle adored her four-legged companions: her dogs Booker and Elijah, her cats and beloved bearded dragon, Raina.  Above all, she loved her children tremendously, whom she co-parented with Jesse Campbell.  She always found ways to make life exciting, even in the simplest moments. Her greatest gift was making everyone around her feel important and valued.  She could make anything fun.

Survivors include her parents; her cherished children, Alison Paige Campbell and Jesse Lucas Campbell; fiancé, Cole Watkins; nieces, Shyanne, Lili and Kimmy Huitt-Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her sister Danielle Huitt-Johnson and grandparents.

A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held at a later date.  She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she brightened.  Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO is in charge of local arrangements.
