CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Michael T. Crookshank, 28, Smithville, was eastbound on MO 116 two miles two miles east of Lathrop.
The driver attempted to pass another eastbound vehicle and traveled into the path of a westbound 2012 Ford Fiesta driven by Michelle E. Stanley, 52, Polo.
Tri-County EMS transported Stanley to North Kansas City Hospital. Crookshank was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
