Klint Lester Bartle was born on August 14, 1954, at St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California, to Robert Hull Bartle and Mary Rebecca Jurney. He grew up in a lively household alongside his younger brothers, Steven and Robert, and his older sister, Patricia—forming bonds that would remain important throughout his life.
Klint proudly served in the Air Force Reserves from 1975 to 1978. His time in service reflected his sense of duty and willingness to step forward when called. Afterward, he embarked on a colorful and varied career path that showcased his curiosity and versatility. From working with computer motherboards to serving as a bail bondsman, Klint embraced new challenges and experiences with determination and an adventurous spirit.
Above all, Klint’s life was defined by the people he loved. He is survived by his wives, Pamela Dehnel and Teri Gormley, and by his four beloved children: Jessica, Deser’ee, Amanda, and Nathaniel. He is also survived by his brother, Robert, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him in their own special ways.
Klint’s journey was uniquely his own—marked by resilience, character, and a life richly lived. He will be remembered for his individuality, his stories, and the lasting impression he left on those who knew and loved him.
The family will be hosting a Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21st at Smithville Bible Church, 411 NW 179th St. Smithville, MO 64089.
