Carolyn Marie Russell 84, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday August 28, 2023 in St. Joseph. She was born February 15, 1939 in St. Joseph, MO., daughter of the late Katherine & George Davis.
She served in the United States Army. Carolyn worked at area nursing homes as a Nurse. She enjoyed taking care of people, playing bingo and scrabble, and spending time with her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters and three grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Clarence Russell of the home. daughters, Amy (Tina) Coats, Sandy Coats, and Mary Caw all of Saint Joseph, MO, son, Jeff (Marti) Coats, a sister, Glenda Barnes, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 - 2:00 pm on Tuesday with a memorial services following at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
