Clara Mae “Kitty” Kilgore, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024.
She was born on August 28, 1942, to Alice (Mignery) and Thomas Gallant in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Clara was a member of her local dart league and enjoyed bowling and shooting pool in her younger years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and she loved her cats.
She had a caring heart and tried to help everyone as best as she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lawrence Sherer; second husband, Milo “Bud” Kilgore; significant other of 30 years, Stephen Brownlee; and her siblings, Jerry and Alvin Gallant and Claudia Fish.
Survivors include her daughters, Dena Sherer (Dustin), Stephanie McGarry (John), and Carla Squires (David); grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Kenton Sherer, David Squires, Darden Sherer, and Ryan McGarry; great-grandchildren, Kindreanna, Nathan, Aryan, Jocelyn and Gracie; her siblings, Carol Russell, Mary McCune, and Emile Gallant; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside Farewell Services & Interment 1:00 P.M. Friday, Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 11:30 A.M. -12:30 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
