WORTH COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Sebastian G. Sweat, 23, Albany, was southbound on U.S. 169 five miles south of Grant City.
The driver attempted to turn eastbound onto Route M. He failed to negotiate the turn, traveled off the southeast corner of the intersection and down an embankment.
A private vehicle transported Sweat to a residence and later an ambulance transported him to Mosaic in Albany. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
