HARRISON COUNTY—A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Wednesday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 GMC Acadia driven by Edith J. Hovey, 79, Bethany, was northbound on Findley Road just south of Dailey Road in Bethany.
The driver fell from the SUV. The vehicle then continued backwards, struck the driver, a mailbox and came to rest on the east side of the road.
LifeNet transported Hovey to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
