Colleen M. Clark, 87, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025.
She was born September 21, 1937 to Otis and Dorothy (McKinney) Groomer in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Growing up, Colleen was an attendee of Benton High School. Throughout her life, Colleen's professional journey included dedicating herself to Quaker Oats during her early years, and later, she shared her laugh and generous nature with many through her work in waitressing and bartending.
Colleen's love for cooking was only matched by her devotion to her furry companions, cats and dogs alike, with whom she shared her home and heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Pinson; brother, Otis Dean Groomer; and her infant half-sister.
Survivors include her son, Michael Clark (Revaye); grandchildren, Krysta Parmenter (Andrew), Kendra Osborn (Frederick), Jeffrey Marsh, Shannon Marsh, and R.W. VanHoutan; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside Farewell Services & Interment 3:00 P.M. Friday, Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. The procession will leave from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
