Jesse Bosworth, 86, of Smithville, MO passed away January 17, 2025.
He was born on March 16, 1938, to Harry and Elsie (Krasny) Bosworth in Topeka, KS where he grew up and graduated from high school. Jesse served his country in the U.S. Airforce.
On November 17, 1956, he was united in marriage to Sharon Rector. After their marriage they lived in Gladstone, and in 1988 they moved to Smithville where they made their home. Sharon passed away on June 25, 2024.
Jesse retired from Ford Motor Company as a supervisor. He enjoyed watching football and loved to play golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Bosworth, his parents Harry and Elsie Bosworth, his son Richard Bosworth and granddaughter Kelly Pruett.
Jesse is survived by son Dale (Victoria) Bosworth; daughter Vicki Pruett; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; brother Jerry Bosworth; sister Carolyn Post; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 27th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville, MO.Burial with Military Honors: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Smithville, MO.
