The Kansas City Royals were held to just three hits in a 1-0 loss to the Minnesota Twins at Kaufmann Stadium Thursday.
The Twins scored the game’s lone run in the top of the second. Andrew Benintendi had a triple, while Bobby Witt Jr. doubled. Zach Greinke went five innings, allowing six hits and a run in making the start.
The Royals fall to 5-6 on the season. They head to Seattle to open a three-game series with the Mariners on Friday night. First pitch is set for 8:40 central. Brad Keller will get the start.
