Cindy Lou Benton, 67, Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
She was born December 17, 1956, to Alfred and Marie Packard in Portland, Oregon.
Cindy Lou enjoyed fishing and camping, cherishing the time spent in the great outdoors. Deeply attached to her family, she valued these moments as opportunities to connect with her loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Survivors include her children, Verla Shaw Thornton, Melodie Shaw Snetsinger, Nathanial Shaw, Kyle Scoggins, Rodney Joe Scoggins Jr., and Alicia Henderson; sister, Janette Packard; several nieces and nephews; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be held at the Hiawatha Public Library, located at 431 Oregon Street, Hiawatha, KS 66434, on Sunday, September 2, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. It will be a potluck gathering, so please bring your favorite dish. Kindly let the family know what you plan to bring so they can prepare accordingly.
