CLINTON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Toyota Sienna driven by a 39-year-old Olathe man was northbound on Interstate 35 two miles south of Lathrop. The driver was distracted and rear-ended a MoDOT dump truck that was stationary in the passing lane of the highway.
Tri-County ambulance transported the Toyota driver to Liberty Hospital. The 32-year-old dump truck driver from Plattsburg was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
