ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 11p.m. Saturday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy 1500 driven by Terry L. Marriott, 43, Platte City, was eastbound on Business 71 at Interstate 29. The driver failed to yield and pulled into the path of 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by Ciarra A. Miller, 23, St. Joseph.
The Nissan struck the pickup in the drivers side. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway on their wheels.
Andrew County EMS transported Miller and a passenger in the Nissan Johnwayne Farrington, 24, Cameron, to Mosaic Life Care. Marriott was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
