HOLT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after noon Wednesday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by 18-year-old Courtney M. Gordon of Mound City was southbound on Route E one mile north of Mound City.
The car traveled off the west side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The car traveled off the east side of the road, struck a ditch and a tree.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Gordon to Fairfax Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
