Two Missouri teens injured after Jeep rollover crash

NODAWAY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Sunday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Jeep Compass driven by a 16-year-old Savannah girl was southbound on Ivory Road at 250th Street just east of Maryville.

The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The Jeep traveled off the south side of the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its top.

Nodaway County EMS transported a passenger Autumn K. Ellis, 18, Savannah, to Mosaic in Maryville. The driver refused treatment at the scene. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
