Lisa Nan Fee 1956 - 2023

Lisa Nan Fee, age 66, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at the Amberwell Atchison Hospital on January 13, 2023.

Lisa was born on November 5, 1956, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of George and Berniece (West) Fee. She graduated from West Platte High School in Weston, MO.

She served her country in the United States Air Force for over five years and was positioned at numerous bases.

She was employed with the Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative as a nighttime dispatcher since the early 1990s until her retirement in 2015. She worked numerous part time jobs through the years to make sure she was able to give her family the best life possible. Her hobbies were countless, including the fact that she loved to read so much that she basically had her own library. Her children and grandchildren were her everything. Making cosmetic jewelry was something she enjoyed, and her granddaughters took on this quality and they made countless memories. They all played games together and she had fun watching game shows. Lisa was known by her family as a great debater whether discussing politics, government or whatever the topic may be. She was going to tell you what she thought no matter whether you liked what she was going to say or not.

She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter Renee; and her brother Greg Fee.

Left to cherish her memory and carry out her legacy are her two sons, Joshua Corey Sanders, Overland Park, KS and Troy Cantrell Heyward, Atchison, KS; two sisters, Terry Gieringer and Vicki L. Fee; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home and her life will be celebrated at a later date by those who loved her.
