Nancy Ilene (Stillman) Weishaar, 88, of Nortonville, KS died on July 10, 2024 at FW Huston Medical Center, Winchester, KS. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 Monday, July 15, 2024, at the United Methodist Church, Nortonville, KS, with Melinda Harwood and Larry Buss as officiants. Burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday July 14, 2024 at the O'Trimble Chapel, Nortonville, KS. The Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hart Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home. She graduated from Nortonville High School. She was a member of the Nortonville United Methodist Church.
Nancy loved nothing more than caring for her family. She spent most of her life as a homemaker supporting her husband Eddie and raising her boys. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and a variety of crafts, including crocheting and sewing projects. She prided herself with making all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren a quilt or blanket. These will be cherished keepsakes.
She married Edwin (Eddie) Weishaar on June 15, 1956 in Bethel, KS. Eddie, her parents and one grandson, Matthew, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Jack Weishaar, Nortonville, KS Tim (Sarah) Weishaar, Toby (Linda) Weishaar both of Meriden, KS, 7 grandchildren - BJ, Matt, Jake, Amanda, Jessica, Melissa, and Amber; and 17 great grandchildren.
