East Buchanan takes down Marceline to bring home first state title in program history

Columbia- For the first time in the history of the East Buchanan football program, the Bulldogs have brought home a state championship.

The Bulldogs took on the Marceline Tigers on Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium and took a 14-0 lead into halftime, scoring one more and only allowing one second half touchdown to down the Tigers 21-7.

East Buchanan compiled 330 total offensive yards, most of those coming from their ground game (233) which was led by Sophomore Trevor Klein (28 carries for 169 yards, 2 TDs) and Senior Cru Conaway (16 carries for 68 yards, 1 TD)
