St. Joseph girl injured after crash on the Belt Highway

ANDREW COUNTY —A juvenile was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Friday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F380 driven by Cory S. Auxier, 50, Agency, was southbound on the Belt Highway at County Line Road in St. Joseph.

The driver failed to obey the traffic control device as reported in the MSHP crash log.

A westbound 2014 Ford  SUV driven by Nicole M. Compton, 36, St. Joseph, struck the drivers side of the F380.

A private vehicle transported an 11-year-old St. Joseph girl in the F380 to Mosaic Life Care. The drivers were not injured. Auxier was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
