Maryville man hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash

NODAWAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Monday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Chevy Colorado driven by Jordan A. Burgher, 28, Maryville, was eastbound on 290th five miles southwest of Maryville.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at Route H. The pickup struck a southbound 2019 Buick Enclave driven by Carol J. Oriley, 68, Graham.

A private vehicle transported a passenger in the Chevy Stephen J. McCoy, 44, Maryville, to Mosaic in Maryville. Burgher and Oriley were not injured. McCoy was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
