The Missouri Department of Transportation is shutting down the north interchange between Interstate 29 and 229, north of Saint Joseph and east of Amazonia, for concrete replacement.
Per MoDOT, the northbound lanes of 229, Highway 71, and Highway 59, which all run concurrently there, will be closed below I-29 from 8 AM Thursday to 9 AM Friday, December 19th. The ramp from southbound I-29 to northbound 71 will likewise be closed during this time.
