Brian Keith Nolan, a beloved soul at the age of 65, left this world on Friday, October 25, 2024 in the heart of St. Joseph, Missouri. Born on August 26, 1959 in Madera, California, he was the cherished son of the late Joan and James Nolan. Brian's journey through life was marked by academic achievement as he proudly graduated from Mid Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

On January 27, 1984, he embarked on the beautiful journey of marriage with his beloved Bettye, who stands strong in her love as she remembers their years together. Brian dedicated his career to serving others, managing at Dollar General, and supporting his community during his time at Sam’s Club. In his earlier years, he roamed the open roads as a truck driver, embracing the freedom of the highway.

Brian's heart beat for music; he found solace in the strum of guitar strings, and joy in watching his favorite movies and TV shows. A true aficionado of professional wrestling, he cheered passionately from his living room as his heroes fought for glory. His love for sports burned brightly, with the San Francisco 49ers and the Giants holding a special place in his heart. A relentless reader and the family's self-proclaimed genealogist, Brian was a wellspring of knowledge and adventure, always eager to share and explore the wonders of the world.

He cherished every moment spent with his family, their laughter echoing through the halls of their home, and he found immense joy in listening to podcasts that sparked his curiosity. A wanderer at heart, he embraced the thrill of travel, and spent two transformative years on a mission in Leeds, England with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, leaving a mark of love and kindness in every life he touched. Brian's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him, a shining example of love, passion, and an unwavering zest for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and great grandson, Zayd Lawhon-Simmons. Survivors include: wife, Bettye Kay Nolan of the home, children: Mindy (Kevin) Hall, Atwater, CA, Antonio Franco (Lyndsey Glueck), James (Jennifer) Nolan both of St. Joseph, MO, Rachel (Bradley) Cook, Merced, CA, and Laura (Shawn) Sutton, sister, Melissa (Jason) Cupit of Oakdale, CA, and 15 grandchildren.
