Kenneth "Kenny" Dean Sherlock 65, of Dearborn, MO, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. He was born June 3, 1958 in Maryville, Missouri, son of the late Margaret & Howard Sherlock Sr. He graduated from Benton High School, class of 1976, and was a lifelong farmer. Kenny married Jeanan Swoboda on November 2, 1979, and she survives of the home. He enjoyed gardening, messing with his cows, tinkering in his shop, spending time with his family and friends, letting his grandkids beat him in cards, and the T.V. show Yellowstone. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kent Sherlock, and sister, Rebecca Sherlock, and a nephew, Kyle Juhl. He is survived by wife, Jeanan Sherlock, brother, Howard "Doc" (Sandra) Sherlock Jr. of Stewartsville, MO, daughters, Tricia (Dustin) Sherlock-Dunham of Weston, MO, Nancy (Christopher) Simmons of Faucett, MO, and Samantha Sherlock of Kansas City, MO, grandchildren, Karahlynn, Payton, Mckayla, McKenzie, Skylar, and Addyson, great grandchildren, D. J. & Penelope, and nieces and nephews: Travis, Misty, and Ashley Sherlock, and Matt and Trevis Felt. He was a fond friend and family member to many. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home, funeral services Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 am. He will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
