Betty Lou Muff, 85, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024.
She was born July 21, 1938 in Island City, Missouri to Marion and Daisy (McCoury) Womach. She rode her horse named Barney to school.
Betty married Lee Roy Muff on May 29, 1975. He survives of the home.
She previously worked at Shady Lawn and Ramada Inn before starting her own daycare, which she operated for 39 years.
Betty was a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church in St. Joseph, Missouri, where she was a greeter for 38 years.
Betty loved to crochet, and enjoyed traveling and camping, including trips to Branson, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore and the Great Smoky Mountains. She also liked Hallmark movies and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Mary Jo Miller and Lloyd Gene Womach.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Lee Roy; son, Travis Muff; nieces, nephews and other extended family; family friend Jonna; and her granddogs, Molly, Sadie and Midnight.
Farewell Services 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Eastside Baptist Church. Interment Savannah Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
