The continued off and on rainfall across the area Tuesday forced many area high school baseball and girls’ soccer games to be postponed.

All but one in fact.

The Mid-Buchanan girls’ soccer team played its inaugural game as a program Tuesday, and won it in style.

The Dragons took down Ewing Marion Kauffman with University Academy Charter 8-0 in Faucett. Freshman Liv Moeckli led her team with four goals in the victory.

Mid-Buchanan is at Chillicothe Wednesday for a 5 p.m. kickoff. The Hornets are 1-1 on the season thus far.
