Katherine Ann Whisenand, 73, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024.
She was born February 16, 1951 in Atchison, Kansas to James and Lila (Scroggins) Blakley.
Katherine married Larry Dean Whisenand on April 10, 1967. He survives of the home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Staci Mayhew; and brothers, Ronald and Donald Blakley.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Larry; children, Shanin Newkirk, Larry Whisenand, Shad Whisenand, Ray Matthews, and James Whisenand; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Blakely; sister-in-law, Leslie Blakley; other extended family members and friends.
