2 women from St. Joe hospitalized after car overturns

HARRISON COUNTY—Two women from St. Joseph were injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Sunday in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chrysler Sebring driven by Lois K. Sherman, 73, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 35 five miles south of Bethany.

The car crossed the centerline and the driver overcorrected. The car skidded off the east side of the road and overturned onto its top.

NTA EMS transported Sherman and a passenger Pamela A Boeh, 74, St. Joseph, to Harrison County Community Hospital. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
