BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Toyota Prius driven by a 2010 Orlando, Florida man was southbound on Interstate 29 five miles south of St. Joseph. The car rear-ended a 2024 Nissan Altima driven by a 45-year-old Omaha, Nebraska woman who was slowing down.
Buchanan County EMS transported the Nissan driver to Mosaic Life Care. The Toyota driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
