Mo. woman airlifted to hospital after car rear-ends tractor

NODAWAY COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Hyundai Sonata driven by Constance D. Terry, 21, Quitman, was eastbound on MO 46 ten miles west of Maryville.

The vehicle crested a hill and observed a 1998 John Deere 7210 driven by Brody D. Beason, 20, Skidmore, at the bottom of the hill. Terry applied the brakes, the Hyundai began to skid and rear-ended the John Deere.

Lifenet transported Terry to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.  Beason was not injured. Terry was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
