Lonnie Lee Vaughn, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
He was born June 20, 1951 in St. Joseph to Warren and Pauline (Kessler) Vaughn. He grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Central High School. He later attended technical school in Kansas City to learn TV repair.
Lonnie was a machinist at Leaverton’s for 45 years, and liked to tinker in his home shop.
He was a man of few words who never left you guessing where you stood with him, yet showed kindness to those who knew him well.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include longtime friends Jeremy and Kerry Overby and their children, Jessica, Brittany, Nicholas, Ella, and Macy.
