Donna Jean Caples, 73, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her home. She was born July 4, 1949 in St. Joseph, daughter of Betty and William Estes.
She attended Benton High School. In 1970, she married Robert "Bob" Caples, who preceded her in death. Donna worked as a Waitress and convenience store Clerk and spent many of her years staying home taking care of her family. She loved playing bingo.
Donna was preceded in death by husband, Robert "Bob" Caples Sr., her parents and brother, Larry Estes.
Survivors include children, Dennis Caples of St. Joseph, Bob (Marla) Caples Jr. of Country Club, MO, and Chrissy (TJ) Cochran of Amity, MO, sisters, Diane (Jerry) Faris and Linda Fanning, both of St. Joseph, and grandchildren, Brittany (Larry) Jehorek, Macey Osborn, Rylee Caples, Logan Caples, Kamden Osborn and 6 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Caples has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.
