Sharon E. Wilson, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026.
She was born March 6, 1940 to Harold and Ruth (Brownlee) Rupp in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was a graduate of Lafayette High School. On September 6, 1958, she married Norman E. Wilson. Norman preceded her in death on October 3, 1998.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, and her kitchen was often a place where family gathered and cherished memories were made. Her meals and treats were prepared with love, and she took great pride in sharing them with those around her. Sharon also had a special gift for quilting, and she lovingly made quilts for her grandchildren.
Above all, Sharon treasured her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and those moments brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; great grandchild, Huntley Wilson; sister-in-law, Gwen Cook; and cousin, Max Bartram.
Survivors include her children, Marti Wilson and Lisa Donahoo (John); grandchildren, Michael Wilson (Ali), Kylie Crowley (Bradley), and Madison Arn (Brady); great grandchildren, Wayde Wilson, Rylee Wilson, Adasyn Johnson, Dimitri Schubert, Brilynn Lloyd, Katherine Crowley, and Collins Arn; nephew, Dan Conroy (Sandy); cousins, Linda Wheeler and Rose Hurst; sister-in-law, Marilyn LaJoy; and extended family.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 8, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 7, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
