ATCHISON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Wednesday in Atchison.
A Ford Escape driven by Elisabeth Vincent, 64, Leavenworth, was westbound on Raven Hill Road at U.S. 73, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The SUV collided with a northbound Volkswagen Jetta driven by Elizabeth Johnson, 27, Overland Park.
EMS transported Johnson to Amberwell Hospital for examination. Vincent was cited for failure to yield, according to Wilson.
